The Opportunity
A blockchain ecosystem was preparing to ratify the first ever blockchain constitution to define the values, rights, and responsibilities of its global community. The goal was to ensure that power stayed distributed and community-driven. This process required gathering input across various regions, languages, and levels of engagement.
How I Helped
As part of the facilitation team, I led multilingual, cross-time-zone workshops with community members around the world. I facilitated sessions that surfaced priorities, tensions, and gaps — turning those into structured feedback the constitution team could use.
The Impact
The constitution was successfully ratified — a historic milestone in the blockchain space — with clear alignment from a global membership. The participatory process gave members a meaningful role in shaping the outcome, building trust, shared ownership, and long-term buy-in. The approach has since been recognized as a model for decentralized governance done well. -
The Opportunity
A global nonprofit team was tasked with developing an actionable strategy in response to extensive external feedback. The input was wide-ranging, often contradictory, and reflected polarized perspectives. With limited ownership over the review process, the team felt hesitant, unclear, and disconnected from the path forward.
How I Helped
As a strategic facilitator, I designed and led collaborative working sessions that helped the team surface insights, reframe key challenges, and co-create solutions. Together, we identified themes within the feedback, aligned around core tensions, and developed a focused set of strategic priorities grounded in the team's values and expertise.
The Impact
The team moved from disengaged and overwhelmed to clear and aligned — leaving the process with renewed energy, shared ownership, and concrete next steps. Leadership gained a strategic framework shaped by internal expertise, increasing buy-in and building momentum for implementation. -
The Opportunity
A national accreditation organization wanted to strengthen collaboration across departments and build the confidence and skills needed to lead more effective sessions and engagements — both internally and with external partners. They were looking for a hands-on learning experience that went beyond theory and offered space to practice, reflect, and apply new tools right away.
How I Helped
Through a combination of training and follow-up coaching, I helped staff learn how to design and lead more inclusive, outcomes-focused sessions. We explored strategies to structure conversations, engage different voices, and build alignment across functions. Participants had the opportunity to apply techniques in real time and receive targeted feedback to strengthen their facilitation.
The Impact
The experience reshaped how staff approached facilitation and collaboration — shifting both mindset and practice. They left with tools they could immediately apply to real meetings and engagements, and reported stronger collaboration, more purposeful sessions, and clearer outcomes across teams. -
The Opportunity
A national legal nonprofit was navigating organizational change, culture challenges, and leadership transitions. Staff were experiencing meeting fatigue, misalignment, and a sense of disconnect. The Executive Director sought support in leading more participatory, purposeful conversations that could foster trust, transparency, and strategic clarity.
How I Helped
Through coaching, I supported the Executive Director in designing and facilitating critical engagements—from cross-org budget discussions and board retreats to senior team planning and vision-setting. We worked together to make each moment more focused, inclusive, and outcomes-driven. I also helped design internal engagement strategies to support staff during a complex leadership restructure and build confidence in using facilitative tools across everyday leadership.
The Impact
The Executive Director reported feeling more equipped to lead complex conversations, manage change, and make decisions with greater clarity and care. Meetings became more intentional and participatory, and staff reported stronger trust, clearer direction, and a renewed sense of connection during a pivotal period of change. -
The Opportunity
A college serving neurodivergent students wanted to translate its values into meaningful action by strengthening inclusive practices across the campus community. Without a formal strategy in place, they needed a collaborative, participatory process to define priorities and chart a path forward.
How I Helped
I facilitated a campus-wide process that engaged faculty and staff in identifying challenges, needs, and critical focus areas. Through interactive workshops and a structured engagement arc, we surfaced community insights and synthesized them into clear, actionable recommendations that shaped the college’s inclusion priorities.
The Impact
The process led to the college’s first ever inclusion strategy, grounded in what mattered most to its people. Faculty and staff reported feeling energized and equipped, while leadership walked away with a shared understanding of how to move forward. -
The Opportunity
A Premier League football foundation wanted to create a student-led program to foster empathy and allyship in UK schools. Inspired by successful models in the U.S., the team sought support adapting the concept to the UK context to ensure it was scalable, engaging, and built for real impact.
How I Helped
As a strategic advisor, I partnered with the team to co-design a flexible, student-centered curriculum focused on inclusion and belonging. We developed session materials that were practical and easy to implement, and embedded a feedback loop to ensure continuous improvement as the program scaled.
The Impact
The program was adopted across multiple schools and became a model for values-driven education at scale. Students reported feeling more confident speaking up when witnessing harm, and educators observed stronger empathy and connection amongst students.
